Raja Shiv Chhatrapati Painting with Shri. Babasaheb Purandareji

Dedicating his life for Shivacharitra, history ascetic, sage-like personality, spreading the glorious character of Shivaji Maharaj everywhere in India and beyond the borders of the country in the form of Mahanatya and books Maharashtra Bhushan Shri. Babasaheb Purandareji has inaugurated another painting of Raja Shiv Chhatrapati. This painting is created by Shri. Pramod Morti. This picture has not been published anywhere to date.

The painting is of a different style and is created in the North Indian Rajasthani style. It shows the masculine posture of the Shivaji Maharaj. The sword in the Maharaj’s hand is a curved leaf and its sheath is tiger-faced. Rajasthani haircuts, scales and fish-shaped eyes add to the beauty in this painting.
